The Divemaster Internship and PADI Instructor course offer you a combined step into the PADI Pro world. To enrol in a PADI Instructor Development course you must hold the Divemaster certification. You need to be at least a PADI Advanced Water certified diver to enter into a PADI Divemaster internship. After successfully completing other courses and you have proof of 40 dives you will be able to start your Divemaster course.
During the PADI Divemaster internship, you will work closely with a PADI Instructor. Skill practice, fine-tuning your buoyancy and refining your rescue skills are all part of the Divemaster course. Not only will you get to dive a lot, but you also experience the joy of seeing others having fun. Scuba diving is fun at work!
To attend this program, you need to be
Minimum PADI Advanced Open Water certified
Minimum of 18 years of age
Have a signed medical from a physician that is not older than one year
Be a team player and accept advice
Reliable and punctual
Communicate in English and have flexible working hours
You should possess your own equipment, (including computer, DSMB, compass and dive knife or tool) or, willing to buy the equipment from us within two weeks of arrival. Talk to us for more information about equipment.
If you need to complete the PADI Rescue and EFR courses, these will be completed prior to your Divemaster training. Normal course prices, for the above-mentioned courses will apply, with a 20% discount and includes all PADI learning materials and PADI certifications.

What does this enable me to do afterwards?
Change your life style – As a certified PADI Open Water Instructor you can work anywhere around the world, or at your local dive centre.
Minimum 5 months. Once your Divemaster course has been completed, you will be able to continue onto the PADI Instructor Course (IDC)
