The sunsets over Gozo, you slip into your scuba gear, mask in place and you bite down on your regulator. Ready to go; one step into the underwater night waters surrounding the island, a great feeling. The lure of the mysterious, underwater world at night fascinates many divers. Watching the waters come alive, under the glow of their dive light is completely different from a daytime dive. Scuba diving at night isn’t just an eerie, cool feeling, it offers a chance to witness nocturnal marine life coming out to hunt their prey in the dark. As day time creatures retire for the night, nocturnal organisms emerge. Night diving offers glimpses of creatures you might not see through the daytime hours. Learn to navigate at night and use different tools to explore the underwater world in a different light.
