Located on the northern wall of Xlendi Bay, is a small tunnel with the entrance at 5 m.  The tunnel opens into a large cave at the back, combined, they run through the headland, out into the sea. Xlendi bay is popular for night dives, the seabed is sandy, with small boulders and neptune grass.

Xlendi bay is mostly sandy in the middle and rocky on both sides.  The bay area offers lots of marine life, including octopus, juvenile barracuda and cuttlefish. The light effect in the tunnel is amazing, which is illuminated through sunlight penetration. After exiting the cave on the seaward side, turn left handed, following the headland back into Xlendi bay.
