The Carolita was converted to a water carrier around 1921, she lies on the bank under the Infirmary. The wreck begins at 9 m, dropping away to 20 m, with a total length of 30 m. The visibility is often poor and the wreck is often covered in silt, good buoyancy is required. She has small hatches, leaving room for no penetration, the engine can be seen and several sets of ladders. The blast damage can be seen on her stern side. The wreck is over 200 years old and hopefully will soon be protected. Sea life, including octopus are round as well as shoals of fish passing by.
